East Carolina University has strengthened its football roster by adding two impactful defensive transfers, Kendrick Dujour and Key Crowell, as the Pirates look to bolster their defensive lineup ahead of the upcoming season.
Dujour, a versatile edge rusher from Sam Houston State, brings significant experience and athleticism, while Crowell, a defensive back, adds depth to the secondary with three years of eligibility remaining. This strategic move comes as ECU prepares for the challenges ahead, especially after navigating a tough transfer portal period that saw several players depart.
Head coach Blake Harrell expressed optimism about these additions, emphasizing their potential to make immediate contributions on the field. With these commitments, ECU aims to enhance its defensive capabilities and maintain competitiveness in the American Athletic Conference.
