The possibility of Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers participating in Sunday’s Divisional Round game against the Buffalo Bills was already low, and after he missed his fifth consecutive practice on Thursday, those odds diminished further.
The Ravens’ injury report had no updates on Thursday, which is generally positive, but Flowers’ situation continues to be worrisome. The star receiver sustained a knee injury in the regular season’s last game against the Cleveland Browns on January 4 and has been out of action ever since.
Head coach John Harbaugh mentioned earlier this week that Flowers might play without practicing, but his continued inability to practice doesn’t look promising for his status on Sunday.
Flowers had a remarkable second season, making 74 receptions for 1,059 yards and scoring four touchdowns. The ex-Boston College standout became the Ravens’ initial 1,000-yard receiver since 2021 and their first-ever Pro Bowl wideout in franchise history.
The sole other player listed on the injury report is wide receiver/return specialist Deonte Harty, who is fully participating. Harty has not played since Week 6 because of a knee injury, but the Ravens activated his 21-day practice window last week.
The Ravens and Bills will start at Highmark Stadium at 6:30 p.m. ET Sunday.
