Badgers safety Star Shines Bright, achieved exceptional testing results at the 2025 NFL Combine.

Hunter Wohler, a safety for the Wisconsin Badgers, was among three players from the university invited to the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, providing him the chance to enhance his draft position before the NFL Draft in April.

Wohler, a senior in 2024, played a key role in Wisconsin’s defense, accumulating 71 tackles and six pass breakups this season following his impressive totals of 120 tackles, six pass breakups, and two interceptions in 2023.

This week, Wohler had the opportunity to build on his Senior Bowl performance with impressive athletic testing, and he certainly excelled with outstanding numbers at the Combine.

Wohler achieved an unofficial Raw Athletic Score (RAS) of 9.55 out of 10, positioning him in the 95th percentile among safeties who have participated in the combine.

Wohler excelled in several metrics, notably achieving a 37’’ vertical and a 6.72 second three-cone, highlighting his explosiveness and agility in testing. The vertical jump ranked fifth among safeties at the Combine, while he topped all players at his position in the three-cone drill.

Wohler concluded with an impressive 4.57-second 40-yard dash, featuring a 1.58-second 10-yard split, while standing at 6’2 and weighing 213 pounds.

Overall, it was an effective week for the Badgers safety, who excelled in athletic evaluations, likely enhancing his value following the events in Indianapolis.
