BREAKING NEWS: Crimson Tide Strengthens Offensive Line with SEC Transfer Acquisition!!

In Alabama’s latest roster update, jersey numbers were revealed for new freshmen, transfers, and returning players who are altering their numbers. One name and number that distinctly caught attention was No. 48 Jayden Hobson.

Hobson started his college journey as an offensive lineman at Mississippi State. He sat out his true freshman year in 2023 and moved to South Alabama the next spring. He did not participate with the Jaguars in 2024.

Hobson, a native of Tuscaloosa, will go back home to pursue his college football career. The previous three-star recruit will serve as a combination of an offensive lineman and a tight end.

After graduating from high school, Hobson was recorded at 6 feet 5 inches and weighed 295 pounds. His measurements are not verified at this moment, but his figure indicates that he has lost weight significantly to be capable of playing both roles for the Crimson Tide.

It will be intriguing to observe the kind of role Hobson defined for the Crimson Tide in the 2025 season.
