The Minnesota Golden Gophers are set to compete in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl in Charlotte, North Carolina on January 3rd against the Virginia Tech Hokies.
The Big Ten Conference has revealed the 2025 football schedule for the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
With no divisions in the conference this season, the Golden Gophers placed eighth in the Big Ten among 18 teams, achieving a 7-5 overall record and a 5-4 record within the conference.
The 2025 season kicks off at home versus Buffalo and concludes at home against the Wisconsin Badgers, competing for Paul Bunyan’s Axe. Home is unmatched. There is no other place quite like home.
The Golden Gophers host their home games at Huntington Bank Stadium located on the University of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus.

The start times for all the games in 2025 have not yet been revealed.
The Golden Gophers’ 2025 calendar does not include Big Ten games against the Michigan Wolverines, USC Trojans, UCLA Bruins, Maryland Terrapins, Penn State Nittany Lions, or Washington Huskies.
