AMES – Iowa State’s recruiting momentum is heating up. Since the start of April, head coach Matt Campbell has added four new commitments to the Cyclones’ 2026 class. While Millard South tight end Isaac Jensen isn’t among them—yet—he’s certainly a high-priority target.
Jensen, a three-star recruit out of Omaha, Nebraska, ranks as the No. 41 tight end nationally and the No. 6 overall player in the state for the 2026 cycle. Standing at 6-foot-6, he’s listed among the top 700 players in the 247Sports Composite and holds nearly 20 scholarship offers. Programs like Missouri, Texas A&M, Florida State, and Iowa State are all showing strong interest.
Just last week, Jensen made an unofficial visit to Ames during Iowa State’s spring practices. He was one of several Nebraska recruits on campus, including recent commits Barry Fries and Tyrell Chatman.
“The visit overall was a great experience,” Jensen told Cyclone Alert via direct message. “I’ve built a great relationship with the coaching staff. They stay in touch a lot, and that plays a big role in recruiting.”
