Indiana is reportedly among the programs expressing interest in Idaho State transfer guard Dylan Darling, according to a Saturday morning report from Jamie Shaw of On3.com.
Darling earned Big Sky Conference MVP honors for the 2024-25 season following a breakout year with Idaho State. The 6-foot-2 guard originally began his college career at Washington State, where he spent two seasons before transferring.
In his standout 2024-25 campaign, Darling averaged 19.8 points, 5.7 assists, and 3.4 rebounds across 34.3 minutes per game. He shot 44.1% from the field, 35.6% from beyond the arc, and 81% from the free-throw line. He also led the Bengals in steals with 1.7 per game.
A native of Spokane, Washington, Darling was a three-star recruit in the class of 2022. After initially announcing his return to Idaho State, he entered the transfer portal on April 7.
Idaho State wrapped up the season with a 15-15 overall record, including 10-8 in conference play. Darling had three 30-point outings, including a 34-point effort in a narrow 82-79 loss to Northern Arizona on March 3.
With only three appearances at Washington State in the 2023-24 season, Darling still has two years of eligibility remaining.
