Badgers’ Primary Target for the 2026 QB has Arranged an Official Visit for the Final Weekend in May.

The Wisconsin Badgers have intensified their recruiting activities in recent weeks, arranging official visits with several of their prime prospects in the 2026 class.

Included in the group is three-star quarterback Ryan Hopkins, who declared on Sunday that he has arranged an official visit to Wisconsin for the weekend of May 29th to June 1st.

Hopkins, a native of California who is set to compete at the elite Mater Dei this coming season, is a three-star recruit measuring 6’3 and weighing 195 pounds.

He has been on Wisconsin’s list for a while, as the Badgers extended an offer to him in October, initially with former offensive coordinator Phil Longo as his main recruiter.

Hopkins visited campus during Wisconsin’s game with Penn State, and he has remained on the team’s radar since then.

Although the Badgers moved on from their 2026 quarterback commit Jarin Mock following the change to offensive coordinator Jeff Grimes, Hopkins continued to be a focus for the coaching staff, and he is now set to visit Madison during the initial weekend of official visits.

Wisconsin is still aiming to secure two quarterbacks in the class, but Hopkins appears to be the most probable choice to join the Badgers from the group, as the team persists in making a solid effort for the three-star.
