Duke Unveils Thrilling Announcement

The Duke Blue Devils have been a powerhouse in college basketball all season, with standout freshman Cooper Flagg leading the charge. As Duke prepares for a Final Four showdown against the Houston Cougars, the excitement is building.

Before hitting the court for a chance to secure a spot in the national title game, Duke’s official social media account shared some thrilling news. The Blue Devils have attracted an impressive 29.2 million viewers on their journey to the Final Four, including games in the Elite Eight, Sweet 16, round of 32, and round of 64.

“Dance lights —> where are you watching from?” Duke’s social media team posted.

Their Elite Eight clash against Alabama drew 9.8 million viewers, marking the highest viewership for an Elite Eight game on cable since Duke’s 2022 matchup against Arkansas.

Duke has been powered by freshman Cooper Flagg, who is widely considered the consensus No. 1 overall pick for the 2025 NBA Draft.

This season, Flagg has led the Blue Devils in all major statistical categories, averaging 18.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game.

Duke (35-3) and Houston (34-4) have only faced off once before, with the Blue Devils securing a narrow 54-51 win in last year’s Sweet 16.

The winner of the Duke-Houston matchup will advance to the national title game, where they will face the winner of the Florida-Auburn game on the other side of the NCAA Tournament bracket.
