While star guard RJ Davis has exhausted his NCAA eligibility, Seth Trimble, a crucial part of UNC’s backcourt, has opted to return. After considering his options, Trimble has announced that he will return to North Carolina for his senior season, according to Joe Tipton.

During his junior season at North Carolina, Trimble averaged 11.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. In the team’s only appearance in the NCAA Tournament, a first-round loss to Ole Miss, Trimble contributed nine points and four rebounds. Trimble made significant strides in his senior season, setting career highs across all major statistical categories. His return is a major boost for head coach Hubert Davis as he prepares for the 2025 season.
