Wisconsin Left Tackle Kevin Heywood to Miss 2025 Season with ACL Injury

Wisconsin sophomore left tackle Kevin Heywood will miss the 2025 season after suffering an ACL injury, head coach Luke Fickell announced Tuesday.

The 6-foot-8, 325-pound lineman was expected to take over for Jack Nelson, a four-year starter and likely late-round NFL Draft pick.

A four-star recruit in the 2024 class, Heywood was ranked No. 50 nationally, No. 4 among offensive tackles, and the top prospect in Pennsylvania by 247Sports.

As a freshman, Heywood played in all 12 games for the Badgers, primarily contributing on special teams.
