“Texas Coach Sarkisian Calls Ohio State the Best Team in College Football Ahead of Cotton Bowl Clash!”

Prior to the start of the College Football Playoff quarterfinal matches, the Texas Longhorns were favored in betting to capture the national title.

Only a few days later, however, the Longhorns are in a totally new position. Following their victory over Arizona State 39-31 in double-overtime and observing Ohio State dominate Oregon with a score of 41-21, the Longhorns are now positioned as considerable underdogs against Ohio State.

The present betting odds for the match indicate Ohio State as a six-point favorite. During his initial remarks to the press on Friday afternoon, Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian seemed to be utilizing that as motivation for the team.

“Obviously, we are significant underdogs.” “No one is going to offer us a chance,” he stated clearly.

In a clear message to his team, Sarkisian took it further by labeling the Buckeyes as the top team in college football. “This is the top team in college football, and we need to ensure we put our best effort in to give ourselves an opportunity to win the game,” he told reporters on Friday afternoon.

It’s hard to contest his evaluation of the Buckeyes considering their two outings thus far in the College Football Playoff. Ohio State began the playoffs with a commanding 42-17 victory against the Tennessee Volunteers before defeating the previously unbeaten Oregon in the Rose Bowl.

Based on the team’s performances, Ohio State has become the favored choice to win the national championship. Moreover, Texas was the favored choice to secure the title only a few days prior. Coaches will go to great lengths to inspire their teams and imply that they face skepticism at every opportunity.

Supporters will discover in one week which team is superior when they kick off on Friday, Jan. 10 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
