NC State’s Wolfpack sends Anthony Belton to the Packers in the second round of the NFL Draft.

Looks like we’ll have to start calling him the Big Cheese. Anthony Belton is headed to Green Bay after the Packers selected him with the 22nd pick of the second round (54th overall) in the NFL Draft.
Landing with a playoff team that already has a franchise quarterback seems like an ideal situation, though it’s unclear what kind of competition he’ll face for playing time.
Belton was the seventh offensive tackle and the 11th overall offensive lineman taken. The Packers believe he has the versatility to play either tackle or guard.

After watching the video below, it hit me just how much sense this pick makes for Green Bay — Anthony Belton already has plenty of experience with the phrase “Go Pack.” Maybe there were other factors at play, but I have to believe that familiarity helped seal the deal.

Go pack, Anthony. To get ready for your flight, I mean.
