After a standout freshman year, Duke Blue Devils star Cooper Flagg is officially headed to the 2025 NBA Draft. His incredible season helped propel Duke to a 35-4 record and notable NCAA Tournament wins over Alabama, Arizona, Baylor, and Mount St. Mary’s.
Though the Blue Devils’ run ended in the Final Four with a loss to Houston, the program celebrated Flagg’s contributions by posting a highlight reel of the top 10 plays of the season. Among the many who appreciated the tribute was Flagg’s mother, Kelly Flagg, who reshared the video on Instagram. Her caption? Silence—letting the plays speak for themselves.
During his standout freshman season at Duke, Cooper Flagg dominated across the board, leading the Blue Devils in all five major statistical categories. The former No. 1 overall recruit averaged 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.4 blocks, and 1.4 steals per game. His all-around brilliance earned him both the Wooden Award and the Naismith Player of the Year, cementing his status as the consensus No. 1 pick heading into the 2025 NBA Draft.
The Duke highlight reel didn’t just spotlight Cooper Flagg—it also showcased the talents of several other standouts who declared for the NBA Draft. Tyrese Proctor, Khaman Maluach, Kon Knueppel, and Isaiah Evans all entered the draft following the 2024–25 season. Among them, Flagg, Knueppel, and Maluach are widely projected as lottery picks after impressive freshman campaigns.
