George Pickens, a standout wide receiver from Georgia known for his spectacular, highlight-worthy catches, was originally selected in the second round by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Early Wednesday morning, the Steelers made the decision to send Pickens to the NFC East.
The Dallas Cowboys announced they have acquired Pickens as part of a trade package involving draft picks. In the deal, Dallas receives Pickens and a 2027 sixth-round pick in exchange for a 2026 third-round pick and a 2027 fifth-rounder.
This trade notably teams Pickens up with former Oklahoma star and Cowboys’ All-Pro No. 1 receiver, CeeDee Lamb, creating a dynamic duo for Dallas’ passing attack.
