Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill has finally responded to the Indianapolis Colts’ viral schedule release video that took a shot at his past legal troubles.
In a recent post on X, Hill addressed the now-deleted video for the first time. The Colts’ original clip—which quickly spread across social media before being taken down—mocked Hill’s 2024 detainment by portraying a Minecraft-style Coast Guard chase of a dolphin wearing his No. 10 jersey.
Although the video was meant as a lighthearted dig at their Week 1 matchup, it drew sharp criticism from fans and the broader NFL community. The backlash prompted the Colts to remove the post and issue an apology.
Hill, meanwhile, kept his response brief but pointed, writing, “The only W they got,” with a crying-laugh emoji—admitting the joke landed, but not without clapping back.
Tyreek Hill Heads Into 2025 Season With Reinvented Dolphins
As the 2025 NFL season approaches, Tyreek Hill is poised to lead a Miami Dolphins team that has seen notable roster overhauls on both sides of the ball.
Following the retirement of veteran left tackle Terron Armstead, second-year player Patrick Paul is expected to take over the starting role. Meanwhile, the departure of Robert Jones has sparked a battle at left guard, with James Daniels competing against rookies Jonah Savaiinaea and Josh Priebe for the starting spot.
The Dolphins also shook things up at quarterback, bringing in rookie Quinn Ewers to join Tua Tagovailoa and Zach Wilson in a now more crowded QB room. At tight end, Jonnu Smith remains the starter, but with Durham Smythe’s release, a competition is expected to unfold for the TE2 role.
Defensively, first-round pick Kenneth Grant—taken 13th overall—adds size and strength to the interior line, while edge rusher Bradley Chubb is on track to return from an ACL injury. However, the secondary faces uncertainty after losing veterans Jordan Poyer and Jevon Holland to free agency, leaving significant gaps in the back end of the defense.
Despite the roster shake-up, Tyreek Hill continues to be the centerpiece of Miami’s offense. However, his long-term future with the team remains uncertain amid trade rumors connecting him to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The speculation has intensified following the departure of wide receiver George Pickens from Pittsburgh.
Hill, who tallied 81 receptions for 959 yards and six touchdowns last season, remains a dynamic weapon, but his name has consistently surfaced in trade chatter as teams look to capitalize on Miami’s evolving roster strategy.
