Four-star receiver Vance Spafford from Mission Viejo (Calif.) committed to Georgia last season, but he’s set to take official visits in the coming weeks to Washington, UCLA, USC, and Miami.
Spafford committed to Georgia on November 5, 2024, but has continued to explore his options and hasn’t ruled out the possibility of flipping his commitment.
He has official visits scheduled with Georgia on June 13, 2025, and Miami on June 20, 2025.
USC and UCLA remain in the mix, with USC making an especially strong effort to flip him following the decommitment of another wide receiver. Spafford has already taken unofficial visits to both USC and UCLA, and the Trojans are widely viewed as one of the top contenders to challenge Georgia’s lead.
Other programs showing interest include Miami, Washington, Missouri, and Ole Miss.
Spafford is a speedy slot receiver out of Mission Viejo, California, renowned for his ability to separate from defenders and come down with contested catches.
During his junior season, he tallied 57 receptions for 1,017 yards and 14 touchdowns, showcasing both his reliability and explosiveness on the field.
His speed is backed by a strong track background, adding to his value as a dynamic offensive threat.
