His strong frame has long been viewed as NBA-ready, and defense remains his standout skill. His updated measurements only reinforce that reputation—highlighted by a plus-5.75″ wingspan—which suggests the potential to develop into a high-level, versatile defender.
Thiero has yet to officially decide whether he’ll remain in the draft or return to Arkansas. However, CBS Sports’ Isaac Trotter reports that he is leaning toward staying in. He’s currently projected as a late-first to early-second-round pick. While shooting remains his biggest area for improvement, teams see significant upside. If he can make strides in that department, he could prove to be a major value pick at that stage of the draft.
