Indiana Hoosiers Basketball head coach Darian DeVries has expressed interest in recruiting Arafan Diané, a 7-foot, four-star center from the Class of 2026.

The Indiana Hoosiers men’s basketball team has extended an offer to Arafan Diane, a 7-foot, 260-pound junior center from the Class of 2026.

Hailing from Montreal, Canada, Diane currently plays high school basketball at Iowa United Prep in Des Moines, Iowa. The Guinean center previously competed for Institut de Sport Dynastie in Quebec last season.

His offer list includes Louisville, Oregon, Arizona State, Arkansas, Creighton, Cincinnati, Iowa, Texas Tech, UCF, Florida, VCU, Utah State, Minnesota, West Virginia, Washington, Illinois, and Houston. AccordingOn3’s latest projections, Louisville has the highest chance of recruiting Diané, with an 11.3% probability. Last summer, Diané represented Team Guinea in the FIBA U17 World Cup, dominating with averages of 19.1 points, 11.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 2.7 blocks per game.

Per the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Diané is the No. 69 overall prospect in the nation, the No. 7 center, and the top prospect from Iowa. On3 rates him as a four-star recruit and the No. 35 overall prospect in the Class of 2026.
