Florida Offensive Lineman Ashley Walker Commits to Arkansas Razorbacks
Hollywood, Florida’s Ashley Walker, a towering 6-7, 290-pound offensive lineman from Chaminade-Madonna, announced his verbal commitment to the University of Arkansas on Wednesday. Walker becomes the third offensive lineman in the Razorbacks’ 2026 recruiting class, bolstering an already promising group.
Choosing Arkansas over a slew of scholarship offers from powerhouse programs like Georgia, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, South Florida, and Central Florida, Walker’s decision highlights the Razorbacks’ growing appeal under their coaching staff. His commitment follows a visit to Fayetteville in March, with an official visit scheduled for June 13-15.
Walker cited a strong connection with Arkansas offensive line coach Eric Mateos, who recently met with Walker and his family in Florida. “Over the past few months, I’ve built a great relationship with the coaching staff,” Walker said. “When I first visited during spring, my family and I had a great time, and I felt like this is where I needed to be.”
The addition of Walker strengthens Arkansas’ offensive line pipeline, a critical piece for their future success in the SEC. Stay tuned for more updates as the Razorbacks continue building their 2026 class.
