The Wisconsin Badgers football team currently has just one wide receiver committed for the 2026 class but could add four-star recruit Zion Legree, who recently made a significant decision regarding his college future.

Niceville High School standout Zion Legree decommitted from the Ole Miss Rebels. While no official reason was provided for his decision, analysts speculate it may be due to the Rebels’ crowded 2026 recruiting class, which ranks among the top 20 nationally.

The Wisconsin Badgers are seizing the opportunity to pursue Zion Legree, with an official visit already scheduled. According to SB Nation Wisconsin, “Legree had been in communication with the Badgers well before his de-commitment, forming a relationship with new receivers coach Jordan Reid.”
