Caldwell is scheduled to begin his visit with the Wolfpack on Thursday, followed by a trip to check out the South Carolina Gamecocks the following week. Currently rated a three-star prospect, Caldwell is steadily climbing the ranks. He sits at No. 186 overall, No. 34 among power forwards, and No. 9 in North Carolina in the 247Sports 2026 Composite rankings — positioning himself on the cusp of a potential four-star upgrade.
Caldwell’s list of full-fledged suitors continues to grow, now featuring high-major programs such as Xavier, Maryland, Villanova, Memphis, Georgetown, Ohio State, and Arizona State, along with several other notable offers.
Meanwhile, first-year NC State head coach Will Wade, who has already assembled an undeniably promising roster for the 2025–26 season in just a few months on the job, has begun shifting his staff’s recruiting focus toward the 2026 class—aiming to land their first commitment of the next cycle.
