Some fans, tired of targeting Bobo, have shifted their frustration to another offensive coach: offensive line coach Stacy Searels. The criticism stems from the offense’s underwhelming performance in 2024, particularly the offensive line’s struggles. Injuries and constant shuffling of players disrupted the unit’s cohesion, a critical factor for any successful offensive line.
While the offensive line’s performance was subpar, blaming Searels alone overlooks the impact of injuries. If struggles persist into the upcoming season, Searels’ position could come under serious scrutiny. However, firing him after one injury-plagued season—especially following an SEC Championship—seems premature.
