BREAKING NEWS: Kentucky Men’s and Women’s 2025-26 SEC Basketball Schedules Announced

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — In their second year leading Kentucky Basketball, head coaches Mark Pope and Kenny Brooks each guided their teams to over 20 wins last season, including 10 victories against Southeastern Conference foes.

On Wednesday, the SEC announced the men’s basketball home and away schedules for the upcoming season.

**Home Opponents:** Georgia, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas
Kentucky will welcome Texas and Oklahoma to Rupp Arena in their second year as conference members.

**Away Opponents:** Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, South Carolina, Texas A&M

On Wednesday, the SEC unveiled the men’s and women’s basketball schedules for the upcoming season.

**Men’s Basketball Schedule:**

**Home Opponents:** Georgia, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Florida, Tennessee, Vanderbilt
– Kentucky will host Texas and Oklahoma in their second year as SEC members, along with Florida, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt.
– Following their NCAA Championship run, the Wildcats will face the Florida Gators at home. Last season, Kentucky opened SEC play with a 106-85 win over the Gators.

**Away Opponents:** Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, South Carolina, Texas A&M, Florida, Tennessee, Vanderbilt
– The Wildcats will travel to Florida, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt, in addition to their previously announced road games.

**Women’s Basketball Schedule:**

**Home Opponents:** Florida, Georgia, Ole Miss, Missouri, South Carolina, Texas A&M, Oklahoma
– Kentucky will host South Carolina, the 2025 NCAA Tournament finalists, for the first time under Coach Brooks, plus Oklahoma, who eliminated UK in the SEC Tournament last season.

**Away Opponents:** Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Texas
– The Wildcats will visit Texas for the first time since the Longhorns joined the SEC, alongside other tough road games.

Home & Away: Vandy

Kenny Brooks’ Cats only have one SEC home and away game against Vanderbilt.
