Following the season, Flagg officially declared for the 2025 NBA Draft, signaling the start of his professional journey.
Before shifting his full focus to the next level, Flagg returned to Cameron Indoor Stadium to attend head coach Jon Scheyer’s summer camp.
Duke’s official social media highlighted his appearance with a nod to his draft stock, suggesting he could be the top selection in the 2025 draft.
“Massive 1st day of camp –> 1st pick in the building!!!” the post read.
Cooper Flagg was a standout among one of the most talented Duke rosters in recent memory. As he prepares for the 2025 NBA Draft, he’ll be joined by several fellow Blue Devils, including Kon Knueppel and Khaman Maluach—both projected lottery picks.
Throughout his freshman season, Flagg was nothing short of dominant. He led Duke in all five major statistical categories, averaging 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.4 blocks per game. His all-around impact and leadership on both ends of the floor were key in Duke’s deep tournament run and solidified his place as a top contender for the No. 1 pick.
