Ohio State football player shares a disappointed message directed at EA Sports College Football.

Ohio State Football Well-Represented in EA Sports College Football 26, with One Notable Omission

Most of Ohio State’s football roster is once again featured in EA Sports College Football 26, continuing their strong presence from last year’s edition—the first release in over a decade. That game was a massive success, and the Buckeyes were a big part of it.

This year, nearly the entire team is included again, but there’s one high-profile exception: freshman cornerback Devin Sanchez. Unlike last season, when J.T. Tuimoloau opted out over dissatisfaction with his NIL compensation, Sanchez’s absence is currently unexplained. Nonetheless, he becomes one of the more prominent players not featured in the game.

Despite his omission, the Buckeyes remain one of the top-rated teams in the game, which aligns with their status as the defending national champions. They enter the game as the third-highest-rated team, a ranking that may climb once the preseason polls are released later this month. With arguably the top offensive and defensive players in college football, Ohio State is expected to be a serious title contender once again.

As for Sanchez, it’s unlikely he’ll be added in a future update—similar to Tuimoloau, who remained out of College Football 25 all season.
