Four-Star PG Deron Rippey Jr. Schedules Kentucky Visit
Class of 2026 four-star point guard Deron Rippey Jr. is officially set to visit Lexington.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pound standout from New Heights (NY) will take an official visit to the University of Kentucky from August 1st to 3rd, his father confirmed to A Sea of Blue. The visit was first reported by KSR’s Zack Geoghegan.
Rippey, one of the top-ranked point guards in the 2026 class, has been lighting up the grassroots circuit this summer, making a strong case for why elite programs like Kentucky are keeping a close eye on him.
On Wednesday night, Rippey delivered a dominant performance with 22 points and 11 assists in a win over Wildcat Select, capping it off with a clutch defensive steal and assist for the game-winning bucket. He followed that up Thursday with 19 points, six assists, and five rebounds in a win against Dream Vision.
Known for his ability to control the pace, facilitate for teammates, and score from all three levels, Rippey has become one of the most sought-after guards in the class. His upcoming visit presents a key opportunity for head coach Mark Pope and the Wildcats’ staff to solidify their interest and build a relationship with the dynamic playmaker.
As Kentucky shapes its 2026 recruiting board, Rippey Jr. is clearly a priority.
