Razorbacks Ready for Southern Amateur at The Blessings

FAYETTEVILLE – Seven Razorback golfers — six current team members and one recent graduate — are set to compete in the 119th Southern Amateur, taking place July 16–19 at The Blessings Golf Club.

Representing the current Arkansas squad are junior Thomas Curry, senior John Daly II, sophomores Erich Fortlage and Gerardo Gomez, incoming freshman Will Gordon, and junior transfer Camden Smith. Joining them in the field is former Razorback Mateo Pulcini, a member of the 2023–24 team.

The Southern Amateur is part of the prestigious Elite Amateur Golf Series, which brings together seven of the nation’s top amateur tournaments. Along with the Southern Amateur, the series includes the 84th Sunnehanna Amateur, 63rd Northeast Amateur, 125th North & South Amateur, 123rd Trans-Mississippi Amateur, 58th Pacific Coast Amateur, and 123rd Western Amateur.

This marks the first time The Blessings Golf Club will host the Southern Amateur. Admission and parking are free to the public.
