Just over 13 months after receiving an offer from NC State head coach Dave Doeren and the Wolfpack recruiting staff, Clinton High School (S.C.) senior offensive tackle Tre Aiken has officially committed to NC State.
The 6-foot-4, 305-pound three-star prospect announced his decision on Saturday, selecting the Wolfpack over fellow finalists Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Florida, and South Carolina. Aiken shared the news on social media following a ceremony at his high school, where he made his commitment public in front of friends and family.
Aiken also held Division I offers from programs like West Virginia, Wake Forest, Duke, and more than a dozen others.
Set to graduate in December, Aiken plans to enroll early at NC State in January. He is currently ranked No. 94 among offensive tackles in the 247Sports 2026 Composite, No. 1,196 overall, and No. 19 in South Carolina.
