Top Point Guard Recruit Taylen Kinney Sets Official Visits to Elite College Programs
ATLANTA, GA — July 14, 2025 — Taylen Kinney, the No. 1 ranked point guard in the 2026 class, has announced his upcoming slate of official visits to several of the nation’s premier college basketball programs.
The 6-foot-3 five-star prospect out of Georgia, who plays for Overtime Elite, is one of the most coveted players in the country and has already completed visits to Kentucky, Louisville, and Purdue.
Kinney has confirmed the following official visits in the coming months:
- Indiana: August 29–31
- Oregon: Weekend of September 6
- Texas: September 12–14
- Arkansas: September 26–28
While a date for a visit to Kansas has not yet been finalized, sources indicate that discussions are ongoing and a trip to Lawrence is expected to be scheduled soon.
Kinney’s recruitment has been under a bright spotlight, and his recent NIL deal with Adidas—which sponsors Louisville and Kansas—could provide a boost to those programs’ chances as his decision nears.
