The Muscle Shoals, Alabama, native committed to the Crimson Tide—his childhood dream team—during his A-Day visit in April. This marked his third trip to Tuscaloosa in 2025, following a junior day visit on February 1 and a spring practice visit in March.

Defensive line coach Freddie Roach played a pivotal role in securing the early commitment from the 6-foot-3, 262-pound standout and remains instrumental in maintaining Johnson’s confidence in his decision, despite interest from other programs.
