Some NBA media outlets can be bold with their takes and questions, but none quite match TMZ. One of their reporters recently ambushed Milwaukee Bucks coach Doc Rivers, hitting him with a series of awkward, on-the-spot questions.
The Milwaukee Bucks were eliminated early from playoff contention—falling in just five games to the Indiana Pacers—and that immediately sparked questions about Doc Rivers’ future with the team and the long-term status of Giannis Antetokounmpo.
In true TMZ fashion, one of their reporters approached Rivers as he was leaving a restaurant and fired off a series of pointed questions, which the veteran coach was surprisingly open to answering.
One of the first—and most buzzworthy—questions was whether the Bucks would consider trading Antetokounmpo for projected No. 1 pick Cooper Flagg. The Dallas Mavericks, expected to land the top pick, have a recent history of making shocking moves, which only added fuel to the speculation.
“There’s some things I don’t even have to answer,” Rivers replied, brushing off the question.
The coach likely found the idea absurd and chose not to dignify it with a serious response.
