June is always a busy month for college football recruiting, but Georgia has taken it to another level this year.
The Bulldogs have been on a hot streak, landing new commitments nearly every other day. Most recently, they secured pledges from the No. 1 punter and No. 1 kicker in the 2026 class—significant additions for the program’s future.
Still, those special teams pickups pale in comparison to some of Georgia’s other recent recruiting developments. Notably, the Bulldogs have made major strides with a four-star cornerback currently committed to another SEC school.
Georgia is putting Vanderbilt back in their place on the recruiting trail.
On3’s Chad Simmons logged an official prediction Friday that Georgia will flip four-star cornerback Caden Harris from Vanderbilt.
Harris, ranked No. 85 overall in the 2026 class by the 247Sports Composite, is the No. 11 cornerback nationally and the No. 3 player in Tennessee. For a program like Vanderbilt, landing a player of his caliber was surprising to begin with—but Georgia seems intent on changing that.
The Bulldogs turned up the heat last weekend when Harris took an official visit to Athens. According to multiple reports, that visit significantly boosted Georgia’s standing in his recruitment. Simmons’ prediction only reinforces that momentum.
While Harris hasn’t publicly announced a flip—and nothing is guaranteed just yet—there’s growing confidence that it’s only a matter of time. Predictions like these often signal moves behind the scenes, and right now, all signs point toward Georgia.
