That highly anticipated LSU vs. Clemson season opener is just a month away, and the buzz is building fast.
Fans are counting down the days until the Tigers clash with Brian Kelly’s LSU squad, and national conversations are already swirling around championship hopes, Heisman campaigns, and ACC dominance.
According to TigerNet, FOX Sports analyst Joel Klatt recently named his top 10 most impactful players heading into the 2025 college football season—and Clemson made a major impression, landing three spots on the list.
Leading the way is quarterback Cade Klubnik, ranked No. 3 overall. Klatt didn’t hold back, calling Klubnik the best quarterback in the country. With an elite group of receivers, a strong offensive line, one of the top incoming running backs, and Garrett Riley orchestrating the offense, Klubnik is poised for a breakout year.
Klatt’s picks also included defensive standouts TJ Parker and Peter Woods.
Parker, ranked No. 8, is widely regarded as the top edge rusher in the nation after recording 20 tackles for loss and 11 sacks last season. Woods, at No. 10, dominates from the interior, and while his stats—nine tackles for loss and three sacks—are solid, they don’t fully capture his disruption and physical presence in the trenches.
Both Parker and Woods are already being talked about as potential No. 1 overall picks in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Beyond individual accolades, Klatt didn’t hesitate to name Clemson the No. 1 team he’s buying stock in for the national title race.
Fortunately, the Tigers aren’t ones to get caught up in the headlines—they let their play do the talking.
