Priority Duke Basketball Recruit Heads into Key Visit Period

Duke basketball head coach Jon Scheyer, now in his fourth year, is gearing up to host Moravian Prep (N.C.) sharpshooter Kohl Rosario for an official visit on June 26-27. The 6-foot-5, 185-pound four-star wing, a rising star in grassroots basketball, has been making waves with his dynamic play.

Before arriving at Duke, Rosario will visit Kansas on June 17-18 and Texas A&M on June 22-23. He has also recently completed visits to Oregon and Florida State, where he showcased jersey photoshoots on social media.

Rosario has also completed recent visits to Oregon and Florida State, sharing jersey photoshoots on social media, and has Kansas (June 17-18) and Texas A&M (June 22-23) on his itinerary.

Rosario, who ranks No. 96 on the 247Sports 2026 Composite, hasn’t ruled out reclassifying to 2025 and has mentioned a potential visit to UNC, Duke’s rival, in early July. With nearly two dozen offers, including one from Scheyer in late May, the polished prospect is confidently navigating the growing attention his performances have attracted. He quickly confirmed his Duke visit, set for the offseason, within days of receiving the offer.
