Five of Indiana’s Seven Transfer Portal Commits Earn Spots in 247Sports Final Rankings
247Sports unveiled its final Top 150 rankings for spring transfer portal entrants earlier today, and five of Indiana basketball’s seven portal additions made the cut.
Here’s where each of those players landed in the rankings:
No. 21 – Tucker DeVries (from West Virginia)
A two-time Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year, DeVries joins IU with one year of eligibility. The 6-foot-7 forward averaged 17.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.2 steals per game across stints at Drake and West Virginia. He also brings a reliable shooting touch, hitting 36.7% from beyond the arc for his career.
No. 48 – Lamar Wilkerson (from Sam Houston)
Indiana won a competitive recruitment battle for Wilkerson, who chose the Hoosiers over schools like Kentucky. The prolific scorer averaged 20.5 points per game last season and shot an impressive 44.5% from three. He has one year of eligibility remaining.
No. 65 – Reed Bailey (from Davidson)
One of IU’s first transfer additions, Bailey committed on April 6. A first-team All-Atlantic 10 pick, he posted 18.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game last season. Bailey will have one season to suit up for Indiana.
No. 107 – Tayton Conerway (from Troy)
The reigning Sun Belt Player of the Year and a defensive force, Conerway ranked third nationally with 98 steals last season. He also averaged 14.2 points, 4.8 assists, and 4.6 rebounds per game. Conerway joined the Hoosiers on April 16 and has one year of eligibility.
No. 114 – Jasai Miles (from North Florida)
An All-ASUN third-team selection, Miles committed to IU on April 16. The 6-foot-5 wing averaged 15.4 points per game for North Florida and brings two seasons of eligibility.
Not Ranked:
Conor Enright (DePaul) and Jason Drake (Drexel) were not included in the final Top 150.
Among Indiana’s outgoing players, Malik Reneau (No. 51), Mackenzie Mgbako (No. 67), and Myles Rice (No. 93) all earned spots in the rankings.
The highest-ranked transfer entering the Big Ten next season is Yaxel Lendeborg (UAB), though he’s still weighing his NBA draft prospects.
