Indiana football secured a commitment from PJ MacFarlane, a 3-star tight end from the class of 2026, on Sunday afternoon, as announced in his post on X.
PJ MacFarlane, a 3-star tight end from Lakota East High School in Middletown, Ohio, committed to Indiana football, becoming the program’s 11th commit and first tight end in the 2026 class. Ranked as the 50th top tight end and 40th overall prospect in Ohio by the 247Sports composite, MacFarlane stands at 6-5 with room to develop physically.
His film highlights his versatility as a blocker and receiver, with a talent for finding open zones in the secondary. When his quarterback is under pressure, MacFarlane’s awareness allows him to serve as a reliable safety valve for short, effective gains.
As a junior, he already plays a key role for Lakota East, making him a player to watch in the upcoming season.
