Indiana men’s basketball has officially released its non-conference schedule for the upcoming season. The Hoosiers will take on four high-major opponents: Marquette (Chicago) and Louisville (Indianapolis) at neutral sites, Kansas State at home in Bloomington, and a marquee road game at Kentucky. The remaining seven matchups will feature low- and mid-major teams.
This year’s non-conference slate is largely centered around Indiana’s geographic region — a smart move considering the Hoosiers’ fan base is heavily concentrated in southern Indiana, near Louisville, and includes a significant alumni presence in the Chicago area.
One of the most exciting storylines? The return of Kentucky to Indiana’s schedule for the first time in over a decade, reigniting one of college basketball’s most storied rivalries.
