Travis Kelce Hints at a Big Step With Taylor Swift
While Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have kept a relatively low profile during the Kansas City Chiefs’ offseason, fans eager for updates have turned to Kelce’s podcast with his brother Jason, New Heights, for glimpses into his life. And many Swifties, loyal since the pair began dating, don’t seem to mind tuning in regularly.
On the May 14 episode of New Heights, Travis made a comment that quickly sparked speculation about his relationship with Swift. While discussing his current living situation, he said, “We’ve got chimneys and we’ve got furniture.” As She Knows pointed out, his use of “we” didn’t go unnoticed — many fans took it as a sign that he and Swift are now living together.
From a Bracelet to a Shared Home?
Kelce and Swift reportedly started dating in July 2023, though they kept things quiet until Swift was spotted at one of his games later that year. On the July 26 episode of New Heights, Kelce shared that he had made a friendship bracelet with his phone number for Swift during her Eras Tour — a playful gesture that never reached her because he couldn’t get past security.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” he said.
Milestones in Their Relationship
Swift’s first appearance at a Chiefs game in September 2023 made headlines. Kelce later recalled that moment on the September 27 New Heights episode, saying, “It was awesome how everybody in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her… She looked amazing. The day went perfect for Chiefs fans, of course.”
He even playfully added, “Then we just slid off in the getaway car at the end.”
By October 6, Kelce was publicly acknowledging how Swift’s fame had impacted his own. “It feels like I was on top of the world after the Super Bowl, and right now, even more on top of the world,” he said at a press conference. “You’ve got a lot of people that care about Taylor for good reason. You just got to keep living and learning and enjoying the moments.”
He emphasized his ability to stay grounded: “I’ve always been pretty good at compartmentalizing and being able to stay focused in this building.”
