Bill Self and the Kansas Jayhawks are in hot pursuit of one of the nation’s fastest-rising recruits: four-star shooting guard Kohl Rosario, who was unranked just a few months ago.
Rosario, a dynamic scorer from North Carolina known for his deep shooting range and explosive drives to the rim, recently took an official visit to Lawrence as his recruitment continues to heat up.
Kansas has already extended an offer to Rosario, joining a growing list of top-tier programs that includes Duke, North Carolina, Tennessee, and others. Despite the attention, the talented guard has only taken a few official visits so far, with more on the horizon this summer.
Rosario has already checked out Oregon, Florida State, and Kansas. He’s slated to visit Texas A\&M, Duke, and Baylor in the coming weeks. For now, Kansas fans can take comfort in the fact that Rosario not only looked the part in crimson and blue—but seemed to embrace the environment as well.
Kohl Rosario has already made a name for himself at the high school level, playing varsity basketball during both his sophomore and junior years. And with his senior season still months away, college coaches have taken early notice of the rising star.

Rosario is a force on both ends of the court. Defensively, he averages 1.3 steals and 3.9 defensive rebounds per game, disrupting opposing offenses and consistently limiting second-chance opportunities.
Offensively, Rosario’s production is just as impressive. He puts up 21.1 points per game, while also contributing 2.5 assists and grabbing 1.6 offensive rebounds. With his ability to score at all three levels, facilitate for teammates, and crash the boards, Rosario is clearly built for the college game — and he still has one more year to sharpen his already polished skill set.
