Underrated wide receiver prospect commits to Arkansas football

Arkansas Football Lands Fourth Commit in a Week: WR Keymian Henderson Jr. Joins the 2026 Class

The Razorbacks’ recruiting momentum continues to surge as Arkansas secures its fourth commitment in a week. Just three days after adding a top linebacker, the Hogs landed wide receiver Keymian Henderson Jr. on Saturday.

A standout at Carthage High School (Texas), Henderson helped lead his team to the 4A Division II state championship last season. As a junior, he totaled 64 catches for 1,085 yards and 18 touchdowns—highlighted by a four-catch, 77-yard, two-touchdown performance in the title game against Waco La Vega.

Standing 6-foot-3 and weighing 190 pounds, Henderson is the tallest wideout in Arkansas’ 2026 class and ranks second overall among receivers, trailing only Dequane Prevo from Bentonville.

Rated an 88-grade, 3-star prospect by 247Sports, Henderson is currently the 98th-ranked receiver nationally. However, 247Sports analyst Gabe Brooks sees significant potential. In a June 6 scouting report, Brooks described Henderson as a “multi-year starter with significant developmental upside,” noting that his size, ball-tracking ability, and explosive testing numbers could elevate him to 4-star status with more exposure.

“Tall outside receiver pushing 6-3, 190 with good ball-tracking concentration along the boundaries and in the red zone. Back-shoulder terror. Will hurt you if you give him a free release. Surprisingly good get-off juice vs. off-man coverage. Eats up cushion and sets up some encouraging route snap, particularly on comebacks. Logged admittedly stunningly good 40/shuttle testing data in Spring 2025,” Brooks wrote.

With Henderson on board, Arkansas continues to build a strong foundation for its 2026 class.

Henderson committed to the Razorbacks over offers from TCU, Kentucky, Houston, Kansas State, Baylor, SMU, and several others. Ranked No. 26 in the 2026 class, his commitment boosts Arkansas to 23rd in the national rankings.
