Michigan Football is almost back! The Wolverines open the season against New Mexico on Aug. 30 at 7:30 p.m. You can catch the game on NBC, but if you prefer the roar of the crowd through your car speakers (or just love old-school radio), you’ll want to adjust your dial — yes, those still exist — to the right spot.
Starting this fall, all Michigan Athletics radio broadcasts will air on 94.7 WCSX-FM. That includes every football, men’s basketball, and ice hockey game. Select women’s basketball games will air on 105.1 The Bounce (WMGC-FM), WCSX’s sister station.
WCSX will also feature coaches’ shows, weekly athletics spotlights, exclusive interviews, and behind-the-scenes content designed to bring the Maize and Blue spirit to fans every day.

Play-by-play will once again be called by Doug Karsch — also host of Karsch and Anderson on Detroit’s 97.1 The Ticket — with former Michigan All-American Jon Jansen providing color commentary.
