Tar Heel Nation has finally received the update they’ve been eagerly awaiting.

The North Carolina Tar Heels are expected to have their complete 2025-26 basketball roster together next week for the first time this offseason.

After losing several key players from last year, head coach Hubert Davis and his staff have been assembling a new lineup, but they were waiting on clearance for overseas guard Luka Bogavac. That wait is now over.

According to Sherrell McMillan of Inside Carolina, Bogavac is anticipated to arrive on campus as early as next week, bringing an end to the uncertainty for both him and the Tar Heels.

Bogavac has cleared a major hurdle in his journey to play college basketball. The Carolina signee from Montenegro has been granted his student visa and is expected to join the team in Chapel Hill next week, multiple sources confirmed to Inside Carolina on Tuesday.

This is a significant development for the Tar Heels, who were awaiting the clearance of the talented 6-foot-5, 200-pound guard. Bogavac committed to UNC in May but had to delay his arrival while waiting for his visa.

Last season, Bogavac averaged 14.9 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game.
