With the 2025 recruiting class soon arriving on their respective campuses, attention now shifts to the Class of 2026.
The UNC basketball program has expressed interest in several 2026 prospects, including five-star forward Toni Bryant. The interest appears mutual, as Bryant has scheduled an official visit to North Carolina for early fall.
On3’s Joe Tipton reported that Bryant will visit Chapel Hill on September 1.
Ranked as a top-10 prospect in the Class of 2026 by 247Sports, Toni Bryant has built an impressive high school resume.
Hailing from Zephyrhills, Florida, Bryant is the No. 10 overall prospect in his class, the top uncommitted talent from Florida, and a top-three forward, per 247Sports. At North Tampa Christian High School, the 6-foot-9 forward dominated last season, averaging 21.4 points, 11.8 rebounds, and an astonishing 6.7 blocks per game. His efficiency is equally remarkable, shooting 67% from the field and 43% from three-point range.
Bryant’s skill set seems tailor-made for Hubert Davis’ system at UNC. The Tar Heels extended an offer on February 18 and are aggressively pursuing the talented forward. After securing a three-player 2025 class, UNC aims to build an even stronger 2026 recruiting haul, which would be significantly bolstered if Bryant chooses Chapel Hill as his future home.
