“FLECK ON IT AGAIN”, Kentucky Offensive Lineman Commits to Minnesota Gopher.

The offensive line posed a significant challenge for the Minnesota Golden Gophers throughout the season, and head coach P.J. Fleck along with offensive line coach Brian Callahan face a tough task this offseason with at least three starters leaving the team. However, they have certainly assisted themselves this month by exploring the transfer portal and acquiring three offensive linemen, with Kentucky’s Dylan Ray being the most recent addition to the team.

He has a year of eligibility left.

Ray began his college journey at West Virginia, redshirting as a true freshman in 2021 and participating in 32 offensive plays in 2022. He subsequently moved to Kentucky and started 10 games for the Wildcats in 2023, with nine at left guard and one at right guard. This season, Ray appeared in all 12 games and had two starts at left guard.

By bringing in Ray, UCF’s Marcellus Marshall, and Washington’s Kahlee Tafai, Callahan has revamped his offensive line group for the upcoming season. Similar to Marshall, Ray brings both experience and versatility, allowing Callahan the option to field the strongest five linemen.
