Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker is under NFL investigation following allegations of inappropriate sexual behavior by six anonymous massage therapists.
The accusations, reported by the Baltimore Banner, claim Tucker exposed himself and made unwanted physical contact during sessions at four Baltimore-area spas between 2012 and 2016.Tucker has denied the allegations in a statement on social media, calling them “unequivocally false.
” He asserted, “I have never acted inappropriately before, during, or after a professional bodywork session and will not allow false claims to go unchallenged.”
The NFL has launched an investigation into the allegations. Attorney and sports agent Doug Eldridge commented, “The NFL employs the best investigators in the country, often former federal prosecutors, who don’t overlook any details.
” However, he noted that the league’s lack of subpoena power could restrict the investigation’s effectiveness, as it may not guarantee cooperation from the alleged victims.
Eldridge highlighted the necessity of validating the claims, stating, “It is up to the massage parlors to provide evidence for these allegations. Remember, allegations are not the same as charges, and charges do not equate to convictions.
“Additionally, attorney Brandon Mead, who is not part of the case, expressed doubt regarding possible settlements. “Even if you settle a few cases, there could be more claims arising afterward,” Mead remarked.
