The UConn Huskies have surpassed the South Carolina Gamecocks in the most recent Women’s Basketball Net Ratings.
The Women’s Basketball team from South Carolina has suffered just three defeats throughout the season. All three defeats were against a top-ranked team at that time — UCLA by 15 points, Texas by 4 points, and UConn by 29 points. It’s that most recent defeat to UConn that might have stirred the Gamecocks lineup. That defeat ended a 71-game home winning run for the Gamecocks, and they have since averaged 34.0 PPG in their latest victories.
