UNC’s RJ Davis Sends Strong Message Following Final NCAA Tournament Game

For the past several seasons, RJ Davis has been the driving force behind the North Carolina Tar Heels, establishing himself as one of college basketball’s most dynamic scorers.

Although Davis and the Tar Heels entered the NCAA Tournament hoping to ride their late-season surge, their journey ended early with a first-round loss to Ole Miss.

While the outcome wasn’t what Davis had envisioned for what’s likely his final appearance in a UNC uniform, his legacy remains intact after an impressive five-year run with the ACC powerhouse.

Following the game, Davis took to social media to reveal some exciting NIL news—announcing his new partnership with GEICO, the popular auto insurance company.

“Me driving to the hoop?” Davis said in the post. “No one’s safe. Me driving home? GEICO safe driving rewards. Celebrate March Madness with savings!”

While RJ Davis’ exact NIL valuation hasn’t been made public, On3 has highlighted an impressive list of partnerships the UNC star has secured over his college career.

During his time at North Carolina, Davis has landed endorsement deals with major brands such as Mondelez, Rhoback, JBL Audio, Hanes, Athletic Brewing Company, Wingstop, Keurig, Fortnite, Skims, Reebok, Marriott Hotels, Simple Truth, and several others.

During his final season with North Carolina, RJ Davis led the Tar Heels in scoring, averaging 17.2 points along with 3.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game.
