Michigan State Makes Impression on DL Reinaldo Perez During Visit

2027 DL Reinaldo Perez Talks Michigan State Offer and Visit

Class of 2027 defensive lineman Reinaldo Perez is already attracting serious attention on the recruiting trail, and one of the latest programs to reach out is Michigan State. The Spartans extended an offer to the talented prospect and recently hosted him on a visit to East Lansing.

Perez, who plays with a high motor and showcases impressive strength for his age, came away impressed with what Michigan State had to offer — both on and off the field.

“I really liked the atmosphere,” Perez said following the visit. “The coaches made me feel welcome, and I can see myself developing in that kind of environment.”

The visit included a tour of the facilities, a chance to watch practice, and one-on-one time with members of the coaching staff. Perez noted that the staff emphasized player development, academics, and the direction of the program under the current leadership.

Michigan State’s early interest puts them firmly in the mix for Perez, who is expected to be one of the more highly ranked defensive linemen in the 2027 cycle as evaluations continue. While it’s still early in his recruiting process, Perez says the offer from the Spartans “means a lot” and has definitely put them on his radar moving forward.

As the spring and summer visit season heats up, expect more schools to enter the race for Perez — but Michigan State has made a strong early impression.
