“North Florida transfer forward Josh Harris will take an official visit to Indiana on Monday, according to Sam Kayser of League Ready.”
Harris averaged 13.4 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 0.6 assists per game while shooting 33.3% from three-point range in 22.5 minutes per game this past season. He has three years of eligibility remaining.
There’s already a connection on Indiana’s roster with Jasai Miles, who was Harris’ teammate at North Florida this past season. Harris ranked second behind Miles in points per game for the Ospreys and was fifth on the team in minutes per game.
Unlike most of Indiana’s transfer additions, Harris stands out due to his limited experience. With three seasons of eligibility left, he could become a key building block for the program’s future.
On Indiana’s current roster, Harris would likely come off the bench. However, given the team’s need for frontcourt depth — especially with much of the early roster work focused on the backcourt — he could fill an important role.
